This team was founded in 2012 after a girl was injured during ski club training and her colleagues decided to form a team for her at the snow festival in Filzmoos. Around 16 girls started as a team and Joe Salchegger (head of the Bögei ski school) took over the training. This was followed by performances at the weekly snow festivals in Filzmoos.
In 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018, the girlies were able to show off their skills as a “show act” at the Austrian Ski Instructor Demo Championships. ORF in Austria also took an interest in our Girlies and ran a report on Salzburg Heute in 2015, while Servus TV also reported on the Girlies in further reports in 2018 and 2022!

In 2017 and 2018, our girls were both runners-up at the European Formation Championships in the children's youth category! In 2019, after 4 impressive rides in Switzerland, the girls went one better and were crowned European Junior Champions.
2020 brought “Corona” to an abrupt end, with no European Formation Championships taking place this season, but training continued apace.
In the lockdown winter of 2021, the girls were able to make the most of 60 training sessions in various areas of skiing. In addition to the formation units, the training schedule included a lot of variety such as slalom and giant slalom training, freeride, freestyle, moguls and off-piste, technique and school. Unfortunately, the 2021 European Formation Championships were also canceled.

In 2022, the time had come again. The core of the girlie team developed into very good and professional all-round skiers through many intensive winter seasons together and had to compete in the women's category for the first time. The girls performed impressively on April 9 and 10, 2022 and, as by far the youngest team, became the superior formation European champions in this category.
The 2023 season began for the girls on 15.10.2022 in Snowworld Amsterdam and ended with the new European women's formation skiing championship title on 23.04.2023 in Switzerland.
The girlies received the highest scores in all runs, even the men could not achieve this number of points.
The Girlies' goal is to compete at the Swiss Championships (ski happening) in Arosa from 09.04 to 10.04.2024 and then defend their title at the European Championships in Samnaun from 18.04 to 21.04.2022.
