European champions 2024
The 8th European Formation Championships took place from 25.04. -28.04.2024 in Samnaun (Switzerland).
There were 12 teams from Switzerland, Austria and Hungary. The titles were awarded in the children/youth, women and men/mixed categories.
The official training on the competition slope took place on Friday.
On Saturday, all teams skied a compulsory run, followed by a technical run. Speed, dynamics, lines, technique and synchronization were evaluated.
The only Austrian participant was the Bögei Girlies ski team from Filzmoos with Selina Salchegger, Viola Salchegger, Eva Salchegger, Maria Bonaccorso, Leonie Berger, Anja Roithmaier, Sophia Staniek, Julia Kurz and their coach Joe Salchegger.
The women's team was tied on points with a Swiss team after the compulsory race. In the subsequent technical run, the Filzmoos women were able to pull away slightly.
On the second day, the compulsory and a freestyle with show elements were skied again. The Bögei Girlies ski team never relinquished the lead and won for the third time in a row!
The trophy for the women's category thus went back to Filzmoos and can now be kept.
